Family Math Afternoons

Days: Saturday afternoons
Times: 2–4pm
Dates: November 16, 2024 and February 15, March 15, April 19, and May 17 in 2025.
Location: Kingston Library, 61 Crown Street, Kingston, NY 12401
Audience: Middle school students and their families

We welcome you to an engaging Family Math Afternoon for middle school students and their families. Solve Math Problems ★ Explore Logic Puzzles ★ Play Thinking Games! Enjoy a selection of engaging and hands-on math activities. The mathematical fun will be infinite!
No prior registration needed, meet in the Community Room.

The Bard Math Circle is directed by Professor Japheth Wood, the Director of Quantitative Literacy and Continuing Associate Professor of Mathematics at Bard College.

Parent’s Math Workshop

We are piloting a Parent’s Math Workshop in Spring 2025 that will run alongside the family math afternoon. For parents who would like to develop a math friendly home environment and invite their young ones into the world of mathematics. Space in the workshop is limited, so please sign up below.

The Parent’s Math Workshop will meet on the four following Saturdays. // El Taller de Matemáticas para Padres se reunirá los cuatro sábados siguientes:
